A Fighter’s Love: Wedding of Drina and Kiran

 

Tell us how you first met? Who what when where why? 

 

We met at the gym kickboxing. I kicked him in the head. Our sensai cleverly introduced us to each other.

 

When did you know he was the one?

I knew he was the one when I said too him “if you open a gym ill work for you” and he replied “no, you will be training alongside me”.

 

Tell us about the proposal.

(Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning?, how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?)

 

No, Kiran being Kiran, just kind of threw the ring at me in a bag and said, “I got you this”

Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.

 

He is my best friend. It’s easy between us. We accept each other.

 

If you feel comfortable, share with us something silly or quirky the other person does.

 

Kiran invented the spinning back-fart.

 

 

Besides getting married what’s the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?

 

Learning new skills together to build our future and achieving our dreams.

 

What’s your favourite trend for weddings right now?

 

Simplicity

 

What’s one thing you wish you would have known earlier in regards to planning?

That it’s actually better to keep it simple. We had a small intimate wedding which all our guests enjoyed.

Back in November i had the honour to document the day in which Vicky & Dan declared to the heavens that they shall be 2 souls living as 1.

Their such an amazing and down to earth couple who are perfect for each other, with spectacular friends and family who welcome me and made me feel more than just the photographer 🙂

Sara & Ivie

Last year I shared an amazing day with an amazing friend, When Sara told me she was engaged and getting married, I was so excited and happy for her. At the time I thought about how long I’ve known her and how awesome she has become (well has always been). I’m truly proud of Sara and happy that she has found Ivie to share her happiness with 🙂

I don’t often take me camera to functions, however I had to just to have these awesome memories.

I hope whomever reads this post enjoys the images. There aren’t any of the reception as I was well and truly, hydrated! 😉 lol

 

Reviewing and sharing these memories with Sara and experiencing her joy at seeing them, sparked a desire to capture more memories and to share in these magical times and moments.
